Produced from special dark malts, which is why even its foam is dark.

Reddish brown color, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with hints of caramel and coffee. Taste is sour sweet and malty with notes of caramel and dark fruits. Light body and soft carbonation. Nice, drinkable and enjoyable dunkel.

On tap on 6/28 (forget the name of the place, but it was right outside of Prague castle in the middle of a small vineyard) Morning beer my first day in Prague right outside of Prague castle with a beutiful view of the city. The beer was sweet, but also clear and refreshing.

Aroma has dark bread and malts. Nice dark head, and color is dark brown. Smooth and fulfilling flavor, dark malts bring some sweetness. It’s like bread that is transformed into beer, brilliant!

Overall an good flavoured beer. It’s light in alcohol so very drinkable. First it’s mainly sweet roasted malts, but the aftertatse is dry, and delicate bitter.

A nostalgic beer for me as one of the only dark beers available in the late 90s that wasn't stout - a good point of difference to all the tasteless lagers. Deep brown with a foamy mocha head. Roasted malt, coffee and milk chocolate on the nose. Sweet flavours of roasted malts, nuts, milk chocolate. A very mild bitterness to clean the beer up and make it very drinkable.

Nice dark brown colour I am impressed by the long aftertaste for such a weak beer. Kind of light but with a long lasting hopbitter finish.

500ml bottle. Nice foam, but it’s light body, smooth character, but hard, hoppy, roasty feeling. In opposite this, it has caramel and coffee smell but there aren’t any in taste.

Pours a dark amber-brown with a finger and a half of off white head.
Nose is uninspiring. Wet cardboard and some caramel.
Flavour is much the same. Lots of caramel, a hint of smoke, an interesting milk chocolate note, a sweet finish.
Pretty boring, but it’s not bad. Just not good.
