Had a bottle at the Prague airport. Didn’t get to pour it into a glass... nice dark brew. Spicy on the palate with a good malt background.

A nostalgic beer for me as one of the only dark beers available in the late 90s that wasn't stout - a good point of difference to all the tasteless lagers. Deep brown with a foamy mocha head. Roasted malt, coffee and milk chocolate on the nose. Sweet flavours of roasted malts, nuts, milk chocolate. A very mild bitterness to clean the beer up and make it very drinkable.

Pours light brown with amber highlights, thin foam head that quickly disappear. Smells malt and cane sugar. Taste is malty, bready. Palate is watery, finish is very short.

Draft @ U Vejvodu, Prague. Pours dark brown with foamy tan head, rather sweet and treacly on the nose, a strong hazelnutty character too, solid body with notes of brown sugar, very little hoppiness at any stage, hardly bitter. Slight oxidation. Quite quaffable.

Aroma is very sweet and malty. It looks dark brown with a beige head - good lasting. The flavor is very sweet and a lot of malt characteristics.
