Dark brown colour with light brown head. Aroma of roasted malty barleys, caramel. Taste is too sweet, with medium carbonation and low bitterness. Also to sweet and watery finish.

Nice head and good lace. Good clear brown color. Very smooth and nice. Good level of sweetness and not much bitterness. Pleasant and subtle sweet aftertaste. I liked this!

Aroma has dark bread and malts. Nice dark head, and color is dark brown. Smooth and fulfilling flavor, dark malts bring some sweetness. It’s like bread that is transformed into beer, brilliant!

Pleasant caramel and some hoppy bitterness in aroma. Head disappearing to thin layer. Clear black colour. Intensive malty sweetness in taste. Watery and not very exciting.

Pours a dark brown color with a tan head that shows good retention. Aroma of toasted and chocolate malts. Deep notes of cocoa, butter, milk and hot chocolate. Really nice and enticing. Taste is moderately sweet, subtle and enveloping. It reaches a high peak after holding it in the mouth for a few seconds. Aftertaste is almost as intense. Tastes like a mixture betwen a Bock and a Porter. Velvety palate, smooth and medium carbonated. Medium bodied. Alcohol unnoticeable but shows layers of complexity despite being barely 3.8% ABV. By far the best dark beer I tried during my trip to Germany (so far...).

Great looking beer, copper with a creamy rocky brown head. OK lacing and retention. Lots of caramel in the aroma, with a tiny bit of yeast. The body is a little thin as expected, but shows some reasonable balance and the caramel flavours are very complex. These flavours continue in the finish, rounding off a good beer, perhaps it could be a little more bitter.

500 ml bottle. Poured a dark brown, almost black with a fluffy tan head. For me, this was a bit like Guinness-lite - similar flavours but less intense; similar mouthfeel but not quite as creamy. It is however very smooth and suprisingly light. A very decent beer.
