A very fullbodied Schwarzbier in my opinion( I´m not sure what the difference between a Dunkel and a Schwarz is ) In spite of it´s low ABV it gives you a bigger impression than you expect.

3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fantastic aromas, the best I’ve experienced on any beer, Floral notes ( peace roses!? ) surrounded by big burnt malty nose. This carries through the slightly watery texture and delivers a clean burnt malty flavour. Astringent finish was a similar experience to the Kozel premium. Strong hoppiness too. Very dry, but overall a well developed flavour for 3.8%abv.

On tap at the "Yanshuf" bar in Haifa, Israel, keg, pours dark brown reddish with a nice head that dissipates slowly, with nice lacing, sweetish, chocolate, slightly toast and slightly fruity aroma, chocolate aftertaste, coffee hints, and overall a very good dunkel beer.

(bottle) Poured perfectly, a deep ruby-brown colour with ample head.
For a beer of only 3.8% alc/vol this one had plenty of body. There was a definite roastiness present, and the hopping was spot on. This is one I could come back to many times if available.

not bad. pours dark clear brown, with tan head. aroma of nuts, coffee and caramel. some sweetness, and balanced with bitterness. not much mouthfeel - a little thin if anything. still could be a session beer, due to its %.

A fine and enjoyable beer - it enjoys the benefits of being rich and interesting and still easily drinkable. This beer looks beautiful; a dark pour with a huge tan head. The aroma and flavour it dominated by rich roasted malt and chocolate notes with a slight sweetness to it. Mouthfeel is too thin unfortunately which detracts from the overall enjoyment. Nonetheless an enjoyable and rewarding brew.
