Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear dark ruby-brown in colour with low head. Thin body, nose of pumpernickel. Taste of brown sugar, caramel, light nuts, brown bread and syrup. Too sweet and light for me.

Bottle, at home. Dark red with nica off-white head, long lasting. Nice lacings. Aroma of sweet malt and light hoppy. Flavor sweet (caramel) and light bitter. Light body, watery, lively carbonated. Impression: To watery.

Quite a nice dunkel. But overall impression; nothing special. It lacks body, but has a nice head.

Bottle. Hardly any aroma, though a tiny bit of sweetness sensed. Nice dark red appearance. Sweet flavor, unfortunately with very short finish. Great mouthfeel as a thirst quencher. Overall a bit disappointing

Pours golden with a white head. Very (too) sweet. Lacks sourness and bitterness. Lots of caramel aromas.

Oh goody a bottle with medals on it, wait a minute it hasn’t got one from AIBA, sh*t everyone gets one of them - even Outback Brewery got one for having pretty labels - not a good start. Now on to the beer - pours a neat red-brown w/- a big rocky head. Aroma is dominated by caramel upfront followed by stone fruit (plums) and a touch of cinimmon (sp). Flavour is sparse and sweet mostly caramel maltishness. What is there is quite good but is sooo watered down it loses the plot. More malt & alcohol please! Still as a mid-strenght beer if you’re driving it beats most of the sh*t we brew and drink over here. Cheque please.

chmurarz (518) - Legnica POLAND, POLAND - APR 14, 2007
nice dark brown body with quite stable head, medium lacing, aroma is sweet smoked malts, caramel, but the taste was poor, no roast, no smoke, strange hop bitterness in the backgroung, like fruit tea with thin dunkel

Gethinbeer (2070) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2007
Very dark ruby red with thin off white head. Metallic aroma. Rather smooth texture, fruit, liquorice flavour. Initial quite sweet, brown sugar. Seems to go more thin as you drink it and loses it flavour a little, which is a shame. Overall disappointing by the end, a bit thin gassy.

Dark brown with medium off white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and malty notes. Sweet caramel flavor with metallic notes. Ends watery.
