0.5l bottle. Malty aroma. Clear golden color, thin white head. Taste of malts, sweet notes. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation and bitter-sweet finish.

Quite good as most Czech beers. A little string in taste and hard to have more than one without loaing the taste.

Can from local shop. Pours clear golden with small white head. Aroma has butter and sweet malts. Taste as well has butter and sweet malts, with bittersweet finish. Pretty normal lager, works after sauna, or in a party, but doesn’t offer anything else.

7th August 2016: I host a German Wurst BBQ with guests dressed as Egyptians who were asked to bring German beer and wine. My friends all came dressed as Egyptians, but the beers they brought were from all over the place: a 500ml bottle of this being one of them (they only new rate of the day). Poured into a half-litre stein, it was clear golden with a white head. Could have been any one of the lager/pilsner beers available during the day, this did not stand out as anything special or different. Nothing wrong with it, just the same as so many other beers in this style. Refreshing and thirst quenching but ultimately ’bland’ and boring.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2016 Well it?s a decent one to me. As most czech beers, it?s more something pleasant to drink than to enjoy and write poetry about it, as it?s clearly not special in any way, but it?s damn cheap, tastes like a real beer with no artificial bullshit and else. A bit better than the svetly pale one to me, but not that much, all regular Kozels are decent but not very different from each others... APPROVED BY TAVERNY?S BLACK METAL CREW!

Bez szału. Aromat średni, smak te. Wygląd słaby. Taki średni pilsner.

Amber clear with little white head. Aroma is butter, some musty hops, märzen kind of malts. Taste is again butter and some kellerbier notes. Easy to drink but kind of boring.
