This is something i would call a traditiona czech lager. Nice aroma, no aftertaster, not watery. Good made beer.

Sampled on draft at Domodedovo Airport. Pale yellow with quickly fading white head. Typical medium-strength lager-style beer, but with good bread-like malt flavours and excellent hoppy bitterness. Pleasantly bitter finish. A good example of Czech Pilsener-style.

Bottle 0,5l. Sweet malty aroma, seems fruity. Smooth, light flavor, sweet maltiness, white bread tones. Moderate bitterness, bitter aftertaste. Good one.

Has a perfect looking froth head, with a glowing, golden-yellow color. Subtle aromas of straw, hay and grass. Tastes of straw and wheat, backed up by a lively carbonation among a whiff of crisp hop bitterness. Finishes very boring and watery. Still, this is very refreshing, light-bodied, slighty malty with a merely noteable hop bitterness, but actually way to watery to convince.

Alengrin (1824) - BELGIUM - AUG 21, 2014
Bohemian Pilsener now owned by SAB Miller, an ominous sign. Off-white, regular head, colour clear golden blonde. Grainy aroma with a corn-like sweetness, raw cauliflower, sulphur, flowery hops. Neutral onset, rounded and smooth mouthfeel, grainy, mineral-like, bit whisky-like finish (though not in the alcohol sense of the word, just the basic taste) with faint flowery hops; watery mouthfeel. Shame on you SAB Miller, this is a near-disgrace for the proud Czech Pilsener culture!

Bottle 0,5l. Malty sweet aroma. Yellow bright body with thin white head. Light sweet flavour with yeast at first, little hops bitter in the middle, malt and mild fruity, finish medium bitter. Carbonation medium. Nice pilsner.

Aroma of grains and straw. Flavour is grainy, no sweetness, with a light bitter finish. Standard, uninteresting Pilsner.

Fairly standard pilsner. Light, a bit malty. Nutty and earthy with a light hint of hops in the finish. Could use a bit more of it, though.

Not very intensive hoppy grassy aroma. Small head disappearing to thin layer. Clear golden body. Medium bitterness with distinct sweetness. Average Czech lager.
