COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad

18/VII/15 - 50cl bottle from local supermarket Olomouc @ home - BB: 5/VII/15 (they sold me this on 5/VII!) (2015-934)

Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, grassy, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, nice bitterness, bit grassy, some caramel. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, grassy, some citrus, dry finish. This ain’t too bad! I’ve always liked Kozel, ever since I walked into U Cerneho Vola in Prague and had two of their beers on draft. Too bad I didn’t take notes back then! :p

Pours a clear, golden color, topped with an average sized white head. Malty aroma, some mild grassy and grainy notes. Taste starts a bit on the sweet side, malty with mild bitterness in the finish. Pretty decent one.

(Can, 0.5 l - 4.6 % ABV, 20150730) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and herbalness. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly bitter. A rather thin pale lager.

A golden beer, a head is white and almost medium. Aroma has strong malts, some grass, pure. Taste has light malts, only hint of grassy bitterness but still not too sweet. ruohoista Medium bodied, quite smooth and nicely to drink. Easy to enjoy, power of malts.

BB 15.01.16. Poured a crystal clear light amber colour with 5mm of white foam for a head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation low and coarse. Aroma malty with no obvious hops. Taste sweetish and malty with no real bitterness. Light body. Crisp and light.

I expected Czech to do better. Not the best Czech beer in every aspect. Very disappointed. Very light and no head.

Canned. Looks really bright, the color of amber or gold. Visible fizz, almost no head. Aroma reminds honey and the smell of field during the sunny day - really dry and kind of sweet. Taste is light, Appreciable fizz, beer remains bitter on the tongue while aftertaste.

Light pleasant dry grass and honey aroma, sunny orange color with light head appearance. Sweet taste with medium bitter aftertaste. Preaty sticky beer, but very lively carbonation, with bitter finish.
