Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Not even sure what to write here. Serviceable pilsner. Light grain and cereal, ambiguously bitter finish. Boring but drinkable.

500ml can into English pint. Pours a clear golden-straw colour with a sparse, lasting white head. Light malty and floral hop notes (and not the awful skunkiness I feared from a new-in-town mass-produced pilsner); light crisp sweetness with moderate carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking. Not too bad an offering.

500ml Can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden colour. Classic hay aroma with some florality and light malts. Fast flavour profile with a touch of malts and lots of cereal like flavours. THis isn’t that bad of a brew, not good but i was expecting much worse.

On tap 0.3 litres in U Cerneho Vola (Black Ox), Prague on 5th Oct 2014 just before hitting the Strahov Monastery and brewery. Nice golden hue to the clear body, good solid white blanket on top. Nice uncomplicated blend of none smelling ingredients. Slight malt lead but the hops even out any sweetness getting above itself. refreshing and crisp: a typical Czech Pilsner in fact, no better or worse than so many others.

500 ml can. Pours a clear, golden yellow with an average, frothy, white head. Sweet aroma of caramel malt and fruit. Sweet flavour of malt, caramel, fruit and a light straw note with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, watery texture and soft carbonation.

Has a clear, golden color, with a thin, very stable, froth head. Contains faint aromas of wheat and straw, along with a decent infusion of herbal, grassy hops. Tastes surprisingly characterful for what I was expecting, with toffeish, bready malts up front, along with a fitting carbonation. Slightly bitter hops get introduced to the palate along with a big load of straw and wheat. This brew is refreshing, but with a strong malt backbone, which overpoweres the hops by far, leaving only a herbal, slightly bitter touch. Finishes malty, with buttery toffee above a slightly metallic carbonation, while the hops have already been fading.

Can from the LCBO. Crystal clear light orange with a small white head that doesn’t last. Nose is hay and toffee. Mild sweet toffee throughout with only a light bitterness in the finish. Very thin with soft carbonation. Crisp but watery.
