Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Bottle. Pours a pale straw colour. Aroma. aroma of some sweet malts. Taste. I can taste a flavour i can best describe as a cross between lemon and rockmelon and also some other sweet flavours. Overall. Standard beer nothing too special, good for a few.

0.5 liter bottle at home, poured into a footed pilsner glass. ABV 4.8% Very deep golden orange colour on the body, with huge and continuous activity in it. Tall, a bit more than two fingers, snow white and thick, soapy head, with very good retention heavy lacing left on the glass. Impressive. Aroma is dominated by sweet, heavy malts. Maybe there are some hops in here, but tvery deeply hidden under all the maltiness. A bit of bread too. Taste is not that bad. A roller-coaster between sweetness and bitterness. Begins quite sweet, turns to a mild bitterness , again sweet and ends up with a nice bitterness on the aftertaste, with a good duration. Thin on the body, I was expecting a bit more. Low to medium carbonation. Good dryness on the palate. Overall, begins very impressive with the colour and the thick foam and everything, but after that it’s all downhill. Still, drinkable and enjoyable.

Tap at the Rose and Thistle Frimley Green. Pours a deep clear golden with quickly disappearing head. Dry malty and hoppy aroma. The taste is dry medium bitterness with soft malt with a dry crisp finish.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Decent one. Starts off with some malt and an easy going light amber colour and ends with some quafness. Nothing special, decent, average, simple, drinkable.

Clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of malt. Taste of medium bitter hops, ripe grains, bitter lemon fruits, grass and malt. Easy to drink but just average. Due to its bitterness it might be really refreshing when it is warmer outside.
