Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

once i had a kozel in prague, and a friend of mine brought me two cans last month. it was a privileged occasion to drink kozel again. though it’s quite common in hungary, i usually don’t pick this beer. don’t know why because it’s really worth its price.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2014 Clear golden color, staying medium sized white head. No lacing. Medium body, average carbonation. Sweet malty aroma, bread, floral hops. Classic czech pilsner, nothing unexpected. Smooth. More sweet than bitter. OK, very drinkable.

500ml can. Clear medium amber, moderate head. Aroma was grassy and grainy. Taste is grass, cereal bordering on cardboard and some mild sweetness. Body was a bit more watery than I’d have liked. Overall, much more flavourful than a typical pale lager and a nice alternative.
