COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Very refreshing. Very nice floral hoppy aroma. Goes down smooth and - like a good pilsener - leaves a nice bitterness behind on the tongue. A good solid beer - ideal with Indian food - one that I will be buying again.

This one I used to drink quite often when I was younger. Sceptical that I might not like it now, I gave it another try! Tasted from the bottle, it poured a brilliant deep gold, with a slowly forming dense white head, that lasted and laced down the stein. Aroma was floral and dry, leafy, with a little sweetness to balance. In the mouth, to begin with, the delicate floral hops dominated, with an offset of honey malt tones in front and mid-palate, finishing with a bitter-sweet swallow. Towards the end of the glass, though, the hops faded and the malt dominated, making for a refreshing and balanced-out lager, with medium carbonation and a good overall mouth feel. Still enjoyable now, as it was when I was younger!!!

Fizzy dark gold with a filmy white head that forms a nice spotty ring. Very nice aroma of noble hops and sweet malt. Flavour is full of those components of the aroma plus a very small amount of diacetyl butterscotch. Gentle bitterness that’s in good balance with the malt and hops with little aftertaste. Medium body and pleasantly carbonated. Very good.

Citrus-lemon and cereal malt aroma with some strong peppery spiciness and earthy notes to the hops. Clear golden coloured body is topped by thin but lasting white head. Cereal-like malt flavour is quite sweet with a fairly spicy/earthy hop flavour and crisp finishing bitterness that lasts in the mouth. Refreshing light-medium body with strong effervescence. Bottle.

Nice enough. Quite a surprisingly strong bitter aftertaste. Plenty of malt.

Golden with a small head. Aromas are grain with sweetened lemon and lime - odd but welcome. Flavours are grain and citrus fruit. Metallic hops on the finish. Pretty solid.

Bottle at JDW High Wycombe. Absolutely nothing I hadn’t tried on draught anywhere in the town centre, so I had this. 4.8% ABV. Sweet and malty lager with a bitter bite. Not so great but drinkable. Notes of honey & sugar. No complexities in the flavour, simply pedestrian drinking.

Golden and brilliant appearance in the glass. Modest head. Moderate hops flavor, with a taste similar to Pilsner Urquell, but far superior in overall craftsmanship. Clean aftertaste. Wonderful brew.

Clear gold with red hue & big fluffy white head. Sweet, grassy aroma. Typical Czech pils. Nice clean maltiness w/ light bitterness to round it off.
