This pilsner/lager???? poured a amber colour with a yeasty spore head. Scents include a hint of orange citrus with almost a spiced corn scent. Slightly metallic odour. Initial taste was a little yeasty and sour with a bitter finish. Palate had a lingering bitter aftertaste that wasn't too bad. Nothing special.

A very satisfying and refreshing pilsner. Light gold body, and an enjoyable sweet aroma. A tad bitter, but I can also get some sweetness on the finish? Malty sweetness to be exact. Nice brew though....good for a BBQ or hanging with your amigos.

Vibrant & clear golden colour with a moderate white head. Fresh and slightly fruity aroma. Nice and well-trounded maltiness in the flavour, with mildly bitter and fruity hops in the finish. Decent and refreshing.

I've had some luck with beers with goats/sheep holding on to a glass of beer, on the label. Pours gold, lacey foamy head. Sweet hoppy nose. Syrupy honey qualities. Grassy. Elements of toasted hop/malt. Finishes crisp and bitter. It's pretty run of the mill.

Pours clear gold with high carbonation. Nice small tight white bubbled head with decent retention. Initial smell upon opening of stale hops. After letting settle for a minute clean pils malt starts to dominate. Bit of grassy saaz aroma there too. Thin mouthfeel, though smooth. Sweet tart start with a crisp tart bitter mid. Lovely hoppy aftertaste. Bit of lemon there too. Overall quite a clean refreshing beer. Pils isnt really my style but I enjoyed this.

They say it is smooth, which it is, but it too hard to drink for a pilsener for mine. too heavy in feel going down, sits on the tongue too long. Needs a kick to help it down.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2007 A great Czech Pils. Nice sweet bitter malt flavour and aroma. Not saazy like the Urquell but who cares, doesn’t seem to have diacetyl. Give me more please.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2005 (Bottled) Golden color with a big, diminishing, lacy head. Quite malty, moderately hoppy and fruity, slightly honey-sugary aroma. Quite malty, somewhat fruity and sweet, aromatic-hopped, but also bitter flavor with a very subtle, buttery finish. Medium-bodied, soft and smooth-carbonated, oily palate. Quite an enjoyable, very smooth and easily drinkable pilsener.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2004 I'm not sure about this beer. Pours with a nice head but that doesn't last long. Some floral and honey aromas. Flavour seems to indicate a significant proportion of cane sugar, lacking malt, some hop flavour and mildly bitter finish. I think I've enjoyed it more other times I've had it. RR: A bit better this time. Caramel aroma, some soft maltiness, but the metallic hop flavour still annoys me a lot.
