One of the great beers in the world. While visiting Prague, do not forget to drink one of the tap.

A well-balanced Czech pilsener, no more, no less.

Light golden color, some head. Green apple, grassy, some hops in the nose. Light bitter hops, nice long palate. Solid example.

Sweet malty aroma. Golden colour, big head. Big malty flavour, nice bitterness. Fresh, crisp with tongue tingle. Very good pilsner

One of the premium Czech pilseners - My dad’s favorite. Not as characteristic as Urquell or Czechvar. Its Appearance is a pleasure to the eye while the smooth body accompanied by a well-balanced taste seduces your tongue. A somewhat of bitter aftertaste. Thumbs high up!!!

great label. when good beer drinkers-- who tipped thier waitresses and were kind to animals-- reach the great beyond, they might be greeted by the velke popovice goat bringing us the enormous ceremonial welcoming draft. if it’s a kozel, i won’t complain. it’s a thin canary color with a bit of innocuous particulate matter, clean head and robust, almost wheat-beer like citrus honey aroma with biscuity malt in back. very convivial sweetness with creamy palate; good bitter hops carry their weight too. refreshing summer bier.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2006 Bit of a slow guzzler. One of these then onto summit else.. and too much Talc in there .. no changes here

A very good lager, with a well balanced feel to it. Not too much carbonation, and very pleasant on the palate. More lagers should be like this.

This is the second czech pilsener that I have tried and I like it better then the Urquell. Had a plesent aftertaste. Very drinkable.
