Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Another fine example of Czech Pils. It rates along side of Staropromen, Czechvar and Urqiel. Lots of flavour, good body, lasting after-taste. Great beer to have with a meal, or just sitting around watching a film.

One is starting to suspect that the takeover by SAB has made this more and more similiar to Pilsener Urquell by the day. Same aroma, very similar body (though more malt perception IMO). I always toss up between this and PU at the bottleshop. I usually grab this If I’m feeling greedy because you get more from the 500ml bottle. It’s a very good honest drop. But never tastes the same in Australia as it does in it’s homeland where it always seems to posess a little something extra.

Bottle. Some saazy hop aroma but kind of subdued. Firm slightly chewy malt with lots of bitterness. A touch to much carbonation spoils the otherwise excellent body.

Dry aromas. Smooth finish and fine balance. Tallie bottle is a plus. Any beer with a black goat and stein as a logo must be good.

Pale golden colour with a fizzy white head. Mostly bready and cereal aroma and flavours, with fruity notes. Medium bodied, slightly sticky mouthfeel.

This pilsner/lager???? poured a amber colour with a yeasty spore head. Scents include a hint of orange citrus with almost a spiced corn scent. Slightly metallic odour. Initial taste was a little yeasty and sour with a bitter finish. Palate had a lingering bitter aftertaste that wasn't too bad. Nothing special.

A very satisfying and refreshing pilsner. Light gold body, and an enjoyable sweet aroma. A tad bitter, but I can also get some sweetness on the finish? Malty sweetness to be exact. Nice brew though....good for a BBQ or hanging with your amigos.

Vibrant & clear golden colour with a moderate white head. Fresh and slightly fruity aroma. Nice and well-trounded maltiness in the flavour, with mildly bitter and fruity hops in the finish. Decent and refreshing.

I've had some luck with beers with goats/sheep holding on to a glass of beer, on the label. Pours gold, lacey foamy head. Sweet hoppy nose. Syrupy honey qualities. Grassy. Elements of toasted hop/malt. Finishes crisp and bitter. It's pretty run of the mill.
