3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500mL can: Detected tinge of camembert cheese in the aroma (unexpectedly pleasant) with slight hops presence. Nice thin head of one finger that leaves behind slight lacing on a clear, dark yellow body. Flavor has the same cheeziness to it. Very nice. Thick malted barley and subdued hops with a unusual smooth finish. Carbonated yet well balanced mouthfeel. I was expecting this beer to be your average imported crap, but was pleasantly surprised all the way through. I have to admit that the Czechs know how to brew great beer!

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Yellow and fizzy. White head. Wet grass, hops, a touch of alcohol. Gassy and slightly grassy. Sweet and refreshing palate though. For the refreshing aspect, it’s an OK beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Actually pretty good. I had this at a few places in SK, and my brother-in-law was more than happy to give me a bottle before I even looked thirsty.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2007 500 mL can: This typical European Lager took me by surprise. I was already to defend the pale lager/pilsner from Rate Beer snobs, but this beer actually has a good reputation on this site! Deep golden colour, thin head. Crisp, clean, smooth, no aftertaste but some subtle hops, not alot of hops bite at all. C’mon! Don’t knock this beer, it serves its function quite well & it has some things going for it, for sure.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A well rounded smooth pilsner which was a must have for any serious hitch hiker walking backwards thru the Czech and Slovak republics. Not overly hopped and worthy of anyones hunt for it.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear and yellow. Has a white, lasting head. Has no special bitter-hoppy in the aroma, well, it has no special aroma. Flavor is mainly kind a sweet with flour-notes.
