Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metallic. (270508)

Bottled. A golden beer with a nice cream colored head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops, but also notes of caramel - very inviting. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops and caramel, the mouthfeel is very crisp. Towards the end the hops gives it a note of straw to go along with the long lasting bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and almost golden yellow with a semi creamy and white head. Light caramel malt aroma. Flavour shows a smooth malt base with a minor note of caramel. Light fresh bitterness lurking through in the finish. Nice and smooth brew.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Deep golden with a rather small head. Very soft and aromatic from the quality hops. Rather soft hoppiness. Nice full body with lots of malt-sweetness. Typical Czech premium.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, minor white head. Malty nose with hints of caramel. Wellbalanced flavour of sweet malt, caramel and hops. Bitterish and dry finish.

Canned. Pale golden, brief head. Light hay aroma. Sweet with clean hard mouthfeel, faint hay flavour, quick bitter finish. What used to be a fine beer full of character has been turned into a dull industrial lager by the modernizations of the brewery.

Can. Pours a pale golden color with a big longlasting white head. Sweet malty grainy aroma with some hints of hops. Sweet malty grainy and slightly grassy flavor. Thick mouthfeel with a sweet malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
