Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 29, 2004 A clear dark orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is of hops, grass, and straw. The flavor is very crisp and fresh with clean notes of malt and hops as well as notes of grass, leading to a dry bitter hoppy finish. Only drawback is that the body is a little thin. A nice Czech pilsener. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 17, 2002 Golden coloured. Hint of greeen apples in the nose. Light bodied, rather dry, the hoppiness is less aromatic than in many tother Czech pilseners. Salty, slightly bitter finish. Average for a Czech pilsener, and definitely not as good as their premium version. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 18, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden beer with a nice frothy head. A very pleasant pilsener with a limited bitterness and a light sweetness from the malts and lots of flavour. Actually I don’t realize until late, that this is a light lager. So far the best of it’s type. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 26, 2000 Malty, for a Czech pils. Some fruity hops in the finish. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild cornish and promising sweet. Flavour however dry and cardboardish. Mild cornish too. Ends dry and light flat cardboardish.
