Pours clear and golden colour with a large quickly vanishing head. Bready, malty aroma with grassy hops and moderate bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation. Aftertaste is dry, a bit bitter, some soapy notes.

A boring pils compared to the rest of what’s being offered from the Czech Republic. Soft, sweeteish, not remarkable in any way - but not bad ain any way, either.

Jul 20, 2008 Still a watery lager but a bit more taste, aroma is missing at all just some traces of hops and that’s all, I found hard to finish even one of this large bottles of 0,5 L. But I’m on my way of searching the best of Prague. I’m kind of sceptical about lagers, but let’s give them a chance.

Pours weak, hazy golden with a medium, creamy, light off-white head. Aroma has slight butter, hay and grass. Some doughy notes. Quite thin and watery. Flavour has quite a good deal of butter, quite sweet, no hops and almost no aftertaste.

Jul 10, 2008 Canned. Clear golden beer with a thin dimishing head. Weak lacing is quite long lasting. Aroma has slightly buttery malts. Hops are fresh, like green grass. Flavor is dryish malty with a medium bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. The finish is quite thin. Soft carbonation and a quite smooth textrure. Easy pilsener to drink and forget.

Jul 9, 2008 500ml bottle from Tesco, Plzen. Clear gold, thin white head. Some yeast on this. Not much hop but some grows on teh end. Pleasant enough lager. Bit wastery in mouth. As a 4% lager it’s pretty good.
