bottle, many thanks to ElDesmadre! Clear amber-brown colour, mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Malty with hints of caramel, chocolate, nuts and buttermilk. Earthy hops in the lingering finish. Another good beer from this brewery.

kaziopiwosz (250) - Warszawa / Wałbrzych, POLAND - OCT 5, 2012
Bitter taste, some toffee nutes in palate. Lightly roasted. Bitterness is the king in finish. Dark, thin foam, stays short. Dark cherry colour, almost black. A proper beer.

50cl bottle. Filtered, brown and no head. Nose : roasted malts, toffee. Some strange wet laundry and fresh fish ? Sip ; Low density liquid with creamy texture, some carbonation makes it mouthful but still easy to drink. Sweet, roasted, with some red fruits, toffee. Overall it’s too sweet ....

ElDesmadre (937) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 9, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown with an initially creamy head. This one was difficult to evaluate. At first, it has a pleasant, somewhat stout-like aroma with roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark bread, dried plums and smokey hints. Then, it turns to smell like an ordinary Czech dunkel, very caramelly, with some metallic hints, the aroma gets flat. Medium body, nice, velvety carbonation, light roasted bitterness. Aftertaste is earthy, with chocolate and cold caffe latte. The sweetness mingles with the roasted elements not too well and the beer ends up having a light, almost saccharine-like astringency. But as it warms more it becomes better again, the aroma gets deeper and more intense, while the caramel makes more room for roasted elements to shine through. All in all, a good beer, even if somewhat uneven.
