1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Geiserich (2342) - Vienna, - AUG 7, 2005
Bottled:
Sweetish, light grainy aroma. Golden color with small frothy head. Weak flavor, malt notes, sourly, bitterness. Harsh, astringent, light metallic finish. Unbalanced, really bad pils.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kappldav123 (3307) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - APR 24, 2012
Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass okay, small head. Starts mild, but quite spicy and really unbalanced. Metallically and dry. Finish a bit better, but still too spicy. Not my favourite.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, white, creamy head. Lightly hoppy. Quite solid body with some good malt and hops and a typical German bitterness although not excessively so. Decent but not very sophisticated brew. 300905
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 jonas (4614) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2005
Bottle
Pale greenish golden with white foamy head.
Herbal hop aroma plus the Wittichnauer signature dusty-gunpowdery note.
Lightbodied and tasteless, flat mouthfeel.
The Sorbic wizard deserves better.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured with a thin foamy head; some hops in the aroma, but mainly musty notes :wet cardboard; light sweetish malty taste; very, very short watery bitter-sweet aftertaste; how could the brewers dare to call this dishwater a Pils...........?
