Draft at the Wittelich Pigfest, Pours a nice golden yellow color with a minimal fizzy white head. Aromas of grains, straw, hops, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is a nice crisp pilsner taste. Starts grainy with touches of pepper and fruit and finishes with a mellow hop.

0.5l 5% a/v, gift from a friend of a friend all the way from Germany
Pours a murky gold colour reminiscent of Hoegardern, nice rocky thick white head. The taste is fruity, with some floral hops and some minor grainyness. Palate is also fruity and lasts well and long after the sip. Overall very interesting, a bit fruity for my tastes.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
11/8/7/7/10/7

Small 0,33l bottle, looks good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts intense hoppy, modest dry, quite fruity-sourish with lemon notes. Finish not too mild, still nicely fruity and well balanced. Quite drinkable and good beer!

330 ML flip-top bottle in Germany. Well..... cloudy golden color. Head is full white but goes away quickly. Aroma is nice and very unpils like. Taste is not that of a Pils at all. More like an unfiltered Keller than that of a Pils. Taste is very good and not offensive. A nice smooth brew. This is no Pils to me. Anyway a good brew.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy blond color; big head. There is some crispy malt aroma, but it’s light. It has the limited sweetness of the Pilsners of this part of the country, but more bitterness; there is a quite light malt aroma; the hop is enough bitter, but not enough aromatic. Pleasant, without thrill.
