33cl on tap @ brewpub. Hazy orange colour with a thin white head. Yeast, cereal and light citrus in the aroma. Average to soft carbonation and medium body. Taste is balanced and slightly astringent in the finish. Overall, a nice brew but misses a bit of bitterness and flavour.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2014 Trübes, gelb-orangenes Bier. Zitrus und Mango in der Nase. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, Mango, Pfirsisch. Leicht Bitter gegen Ende, vielleicht etwas schwach für ein Pale Ale. Schmeckt trotzdem sehr gut.

330 ml bottle. BB 01/04/2014. From a trade with Beerhunter111. Thanks a lot Hans Peter!
Clear amber colour with a mid-size foamy off-white head. The aroma is sweetness, apricot jam, marmalade, slightly dark maltiness and mild hoppiness. The flavour is fruits, berries, marmalade, mild bitterness, sweetness and some maltiness. Soft carbonation. Quite balanced but sweet Pale Ale. The empty bottle weighs 12 kg.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Dark amber color, medium head, well rounded aroma and taste, not too bitter, very refreshing.

BOTTLE 33CL from Beerhunter. Thanks, Hans Peter. BB 04/2014. Look: clear dark amber/brandy with yeast sediment. Light-tan creamy-to-frothy head. Aroma: sweet, almost vanilla, honey, quince marmalade, subdued zesty hops. Taste: medium fruitiness, honey, a tad tart, light bitterness, almost no hop flavour, body too thin. Freshness might be a factor.

33cl from trade at booth, Braukunst Live München 2014. Bb04/2014. What a silly, provincial label...Chalk-dead nose, no aroma at all. Pours a milky light orange. Fizzy carbonation, oily/sticky palate, homebrew attenuation. Decent quality bitterness, with a nice grassy edge and lingering "grainy" texture. However, as to the actual proposed innovation of this brew: Very shy aroma notes, maybe some apricot and gooseberry, old fruit salad complete with its syrupy juice, at best. Some citrus in the finish. Overall a drinkable homebrew, but a flawed UK pale ale. Very hard to share any of the previous raters’ diffuse eulogies.

Bottle at home- 23rd Feb from a trade courtesy of Hans Peter. Pours a deep golden/cloudy orange colour with a foaming head which dies back to a thin lasting crown with patchy lacing. Aroma is bready malts with a slight grassiness. Some sweetness and earthy tones. I'm assuming Goldings and Fuggles. Taste is robust English malt bready and biscuit blended well with bitterness throughout. Nice hit of sweetness on the end. Body is quite full with medium carbonation. A very good example of an English IPA. I wish more of the new skool brewers here would have a go at this style. Baby thrown out with the bath water? I really disliked the artwork on the label though. Sexist imagery does beer no favours. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle@Brewpub. Citrus and malts aroma. Copper, beige head, good lace. Pretty malty, light bitter, hint of citrus, caramel. Full, too full for a pale ale actually.
