Draft at Kraftbrau. Small ivory head that mostly diminished, excellent lacing, fine-medium sized bubbles, no visible carbonation, and a dark orange hue. Malty, hoppy and sweet aroma. Sweet, malty and caramel flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body.

On tap at Kraftbrau. Similar to quite a few of their other beers, with a dusty yeast characteristic and leafy, tea-like hops complementing the sweet, almost strawberry-like Munich malts. Cheerios and grass. A refreshing change from the average "red beer" offering at most brewpubs.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized off-white colored head of finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a red brown colored transparent body and a very good lacing. It was a little dark for an amber lager. The aroma was mild with Irish red amber malty notes.The mouth feel was initially smooth with a mild malt mild hop presence and a tingly finish. The flavor was mild and sweet with malty Irish red malt flavor.
