Slightly musty odor--not sure what this is initially. Drinkable nevertheless. PsychProf was right in saying that these beers have a tangy sourness to them. Interesting.

Bottle: Not quite sure what style this is. Golden amber color with small white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, and sugar. The body is light with an enjoyable sweetness with a sticky bitter finish. Pretty smooth overall. Still have no idea what this is, but I must say it was my least favorite beer I tried from Kraftbrau.

"A novel beer" - label. "A lager that’s not as flavorful as some of our others." - the barmaid. So, I had the sampler tray of 5 lagers and 1 ale. I was bummed because my absolute fav from the brewery is the Helles and they were out. The barmaid assured me they didn’t have any bottles either. So I saunter over to the brewery’s fridge (as you only can after a sampler tray in 30 minutes) and found 1 remaining Helles (treasure) and this concoction. It is an interesting blend of flavors, that’s for sure! Definite American Wheat components (tart/sweet) - chill haze plus some unfilteredness makes it look nice - Saaz aroma, but not the body to go along with it...in fact it was thin and watery. Yet...unusual in flavor. Yes, it’s a lager, but not one I’ve ever experienced! What the hell are these guys using that imparts that characteristic sourness? I am sure it turns some folks off.
