2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz. bottle from a six-pack purchased at Culinaria in order to make beer cheese soup. Pours a clear, bright gold with an initially finger-thick foamy white head that vanishes relatively quickly. Looks better than its Light brother. Aroma of corn, cereal, sweet and pale malts, and some grass. Not that pleasant. Flavor of corn, sweet cereal, pale malts, crackers, and sugar. Light-bodied, but with more body than expected. Malty, sweet mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Not great or anything, but not bad compared to the Light version and its peers.

Bottle. Odd, I was sure I’d taken notes on this previously. Golden and clear, looking macro all the way. But by being pure of intent, this comes off cleaner and clearly "all malt." But in the end, this is probably boring to the beer geek, and indistinguishable to the uninitiated. (#5855, 11/12/2014)

Sampled at an esbls tasting. From Rob. Clear and golden. Tiny white head. Flavor and nose are both very light. Just not a lot going on.

12oz. Bottle: Got in trade from Phaleslu; THANKS Peter! Aroma of corn, garbage, grain, malt, and cereal. Poured amber in color with a small, creamy dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet. Tastes of malt, corn, grain, cereal, and plastic. Light body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, malt, cereal, corn, plastic finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour is a bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is ok with some grain a bit of grassy hop. Flavor is more bland grain with some wet paper bag toward the end. Not much in the way of flavor but that makes it easy to drink I guess. Better than and canned swill lager beer.

It poured a straw yellow color with a white head. The aroma was grassy and bready with a lightly citric and dry quality. The flavor was very light and grassy with a little bitterness and zesty quality.

12oz bottle picked up for me by my girlfriend at some gas station in St. Louis. Pours a clear pale yellow with almost no head. Aroma is mostly sweet malt and corn. Do I detect rice? Maybe. Taste is the same as aroma. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, nothing really special. I’ve had a lot worse but I’ve definitely had better. With a taste this average, I’ll bet it will be hugely popular.

(bottle) pale gold with quickly vanishing white head. Grain aroma. Flavor is light grainy malt, a hint of lemon and hops in the finish. Typical mass produced lager.
