24oz can 11/29.13 (Stl Gas Station)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn, grains, and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is just another light pale lager.

Can. Medium gold body with a slightly off white but dense head. The nose is bologna and corn. The body is seemingly flat. The flavors are metallic with corn and a little bit of hot dogs in the finish. A light tasting brew with only bread crust in the aftertaste. Not offensive, this is just bland more than anything.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Friend had these on my trip to STL. Wasn’t expecting anything to blow me away, but still a better beer than others in its style. Poured a pale yellow color with a huge white head. Aroma was dominated by the malts and corn. Some skunky notes. Grass on there as well. Flavor was a lot of the same. Thinner body.. Kind of watery. Still not bad for the style. It was good to try this beer.

Kraftig Light has a thick, slightly off-white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance. There is no lacing associated with this beer. The aroma is faint, but one can pick up sweetness, light barley malt, and metal. Taste is of very mildly-roasted malt, sweetness, some aluminum, and bread. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Kraftig Light finishes crisp, fairly refreshing, drinkable, and mostly dry. Overall, this is at best and average light beer. There are no foul aspects, however. RJT

Had a sample at the vendor’s stand in my grocery store. Looked, smelled and tasted like the weak light beer it is, though it’s probably incrementally better than major Bud/Miller/Coors competitors. Needless to say, that’s not difficult.

I'm going to go ahead and give this beer a top rating. Hats off for trying to bring the family name back to the United States, where it belongs! This beer is not meant to compete with our desirable craft beer industry, but rather put up a new fight to the bought out Budweiser! Keep up the good fight!

Pour from a 12 oz bottle, enjoyed at Bixby’s Restaurant in St. Louis. Very similar in profile to regular Kraftig - typical pale lager look, aroma dominated by sweet malt, and thin palate and mouthfeel. But - better tasting IMO than the rgular due to less sweet malt, creating a better balance with the hops. Lightly sweet with a modest floral and grass in the finish. Struck me as very tasty and low enough in ABV for a lunchtime beer. OK - it was 100F and the bottles were ice cold, and that *might* have affected my perception. But I enjoyed it today.
