COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

0.5 l bottle at Timo A’s. Golden color. Hazy dark reddish brown color, a gusher. Lots of licorice in the aroma. Flavors of licorice with coffee, charcoal and dark chocolate. Medium body, sparkling oily palate. Dryer finish. Dominated by licorice, which is not my favourite spice.

Aroma is rather typical to English Ales with toffee, biscuits and hints of caramel and licorice. Flavour has ash, some licorice and some toffee. Slightly too much CO2 on palate. A bit watery but decent.
