Commercial Description:
Danish: Det sorte lyspunkt i den mørke tid. Natmand er en sort relativt tør overgæret all-grain stout, hvor det ikke er rundhed, men den rene umaskerede mørke maltsmag der dyrkes. Smagen er udpræget domineret af de sorte malte som anvendes, og giver indtryk af chokolade og især kaffe. Havren anvendes for at give mundfylde og skummet er tæt, cremet nøddebrunt. Ledsages af mørk chokoladekage.

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild vinous aroma, slightly sweet. Black colour. Small stable brown head. The flavour has a bit of hard roasted malts, not rough though. Creamy flavour and mouthfeel. A hint of grassy aroma hops. The finish is a bit rough, but overall, a good beer.

Bottle delivered by the brewer, many thanks! Thick black pour with a touch of brown, creamy coffee head. Mild aroma of malt and coffee. Flavor is nice, roast malt, cocoa lingers for a long while. Good balanced stout.

Bottle. Low creamy light brown head. Pitch black body. Powerful coffee caramel liquorice aroma. Mild and actually pretty sweet coffee liquorice flavor. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Sample at Jydske Øldage 2009. Creamy lightbrown good mostly alsting head. Black colour. moderate malty and hopy aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice stout.

Black with a lasting tan head. Strong aroma of dark chocolate, with a grainy touch and a little smoke. Sweetish licorice flavour with notes of grainy malt and biscuit, and a intense roasted finish
