Bottle. This well traveled bottle was richly carbonated upon opening. Cloudy amber pour with ample floaties. Yeasty, metalic aroma with sweet tropical fruit. Banana bread flavour, overly sweet with a hint of citrus finish.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits, yeast, sugar and spices. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A small, white head sits patiently on top of a more or less clear golden body. Fruity and sugary nose, white sugar, citrus peel, some pear hints, and a touch of spices. The flavor is too sweet I think, yet it’s not sticking on the palate, with a little spiced hint, some bitterness and a good dash of fruityness. Medium to full body, pleasant carbonation. Well, it’s not really bad in any way, but it’s quite boring and not my kind of tripel. 120405

Dark orange coloured and murky. Has a whie head, medium duration. Aroma is heavy sweet and yeasty. Some heavy fruty notes too. Flavor is heavy sweet, a bit sharp too, perhaps astringent. Soft carbonation.
