Krakauer Stout is a dark bottom fermented (lager) beer which is associated due to its character with the classic Stout style beers. The mystery of the delicate coffee taste, deep dark hue and a beautiful creamy head is the choicest ingredients and an over 40 days of lagering time. Ingredients: water, Pilsen malt, caramel malt, non-malted barley, hops, yeast. 13°P

500ml bottle (Chmielarnia, Warsaw)
Very nice rich roast, a touch of coffee, a little beany. Very similar taste - deep burnt roast. Quite watery in some ways, but definitely not thin. Drinkability high. Blurs the Schwartz/Baltic Porter style continuum intriguingly. Very nice.

500 ml bottle. BB 22/11/13. From Poland. Courtesy of FatPhil. Dziękuję!
Black colour with a tiny tan head. Roasted malt and coffee in the quite nice aroma. The flavour is also roasted malt, some hops and mild coffee. It’s a bit watery but rather tasty. It’s very stout-like to be a lager. A nice surprise.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, courtesy of FatPhil, 20130713) The beer poured almost black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, roasted malts and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, sweetness, hint of ash, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A tasty dark brew. Probably not a schwarz but really a stout.

Pours cloudy dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Taste of roasted malt, smoky and slightly bitter, interspersed with some notes of caramel. Roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate in the finish. Not bad, if a little watery.

Totally black color, thin head. Light aroma of roasted malts. Taste is roasty with some licorice and minimal coffee note. It’s something beetwen porter and stout. Average beer.
