Barva: jantarová, pěna bílá, hustá, vysoká a držící. Vůně: svěží chmelová. Chuť: plné kulaté tělo, vyvážená sladová a chmelová, jen středně hořká a le se správným hořkým dozvukem. Lehká medová (nebo karamelová?) stopa. Vynikající pivo!

UPDATED: APR 2, 2010 Draught at the brewery’s hotel restaurant as Speciál 14°. Clear copper colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour starts off vinous. Has a slightly rough bitterness, clean though. Sweetish finish. Not unlike many other strong Czech lagers.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 petexner (549) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 31, 2010

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 panagiof (10) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - JAN 24, 2010
Bottled.(as Krakonoš Vánoční Světlý Ležák 14°). This is the Christmas edition of the beer.
Appearance - hazy golden color with a bubbly head that doesn’t last for long.
Aroma - It is very malty, yeasty and fruity. The spices are very distinctive. Some hints of honey and caramel.
Taste - harsh hoppy flavor with strong taste of malts and spices. A very bitter beer, which in the end turns to medium sweet. Some fruits are here too.
Palate - the same bitter and spicy character like on the taste. Light bodied with average carbonation.
Overall - a classic Czech pilsner beer, with nothing special inside.Maybe more fruity than the others. Although, it’s a good effort from the brewery.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (15966) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2009
Bottled at PBF. (as Velíkonoční Světlý Ležák). Clear golden, small head. Sweetish and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. A bit of butter, but too fruity and with too restrained hops to really hit my spot. Light sugary finish.
