Bottle (Number 0038/2006): Deep amber coloured with reddish spots, small, quite firm tanned head; sweet, vinous and fruity/estery nose with a faint touch of alcohol; sweet flavour, full bodied; sweet, vinous and fruity finish, again, sweet-bitter aftertaste, a bit warming. Well hidden alcohol, well balanced strong brew ! (Limited edition: only 150 bottles were sold, together with two tiny glasses in a wooden box. 30 € !)

on tap at the brewery, summer 2010. deep mahogany, thick and unyielding texture, plenty of stewed fruits, old planks, rainforest floor and a good hit of saaz. plenty of golden syrup sweetness some tinned pineapple. surprisingly drinkable

bought at the brewery, one of the last sets containing a wooden presentation box, 2 glasses and a bottle of the beer. Dark amber colour, tiny head, very intensive malty aroma. Oily consistence. Very malty flavour, sweet, with hints of roasted malt, fruity and strong.
