The aroma is malty grain with a bit of breas, lemon, sulphur, pine, honey, and hay. The taste is herbal hay, grain, honey, bread, lemon. it has a spritxy feel inear the finish and is a bit sweet with a lightly dominant, complex bitterness. It’s extremely tasty and fullbodied yet very easy to drink.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mattyb83 (636) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 2, 2011
Bottle shared by atom. Clear, golden straw color with a small white head. Did I say head? After finishing typing I now only have a couple of bubbles and a ring around the glass. Sweet aroma that reminds me of honey on slightly burnt toast. HOLY SHIT DID YOU SEE THAT CATCH BY NELSON ROSARIO?!?!?! I eat peanut butter toast with honey a lot, so maybe I just love that aroma. Oh my god... that is really sweet tasting. Honey, bread, more sweet sugar. Nope... I don’t like that sweetness. I just can’t drink that much of this. The sweetness is overpowering.

NOT A DOPPELBOCK, rather it is a bastard child of who knows what. Not a pilsener either.

Definitely on the sweet malty side. Mostly fruit and a finish that is reminiscent of melon. Beautiful gold pour with a thick, structures beige/white head. Nice lacing, too. Thin and bland on the tongue.
