Commercial Description:
Is a classic Czech "tmave" (dark) beer with a sweet malty, coffee-like accent. Sweet malts are to the fore on the palate with a hint of drying sensation and a degree of fruitiness on the very lightly hopped finish.

Thanks Chibbyman. Dark rich pour with a brown head. Roasted malt, sweet fruity aroma. Taste was sweet, roastedmalt, a little burnt malt taste at the end. Worth a second go.

Pours dark brown with small tan head. Sweet aroma of coffee and sweet malts. Very sweet flavor of roasted malts, a little coffee, and some sweet fruit. I could not taste the hops at all in this dunkel, but the finish was still somewhat dry.

Aroma: Wheat aroma with a slight coffee lingering.
Appearance: Dark Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: A nice wheat flavoring with the roasty malt. The coffee like flavor was subtle.
Palate: Dry finish, with a good Mouthfeel.
Overall: This was a decent Dunkel from the Czech Republic.

The aroma is very sweet with cola, toasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and syrup. The appearance is nice with a large foamy head and a red brown color. The flavor is like the aroma with a bit of fruitiness. The palate is thin. Overall it’s interesting but it’s sweet and a tad bit strange.

Bottle. Malt lovers should go crazy over this one. Syrupy malt aroma, somewhat medicinal. Dark reddish brown body, large light tan head. Flavor is sweet and a little roasty, with malt and more malt. Nicely carbonated, which prevents it from being overly syrupy.

Dark brown colored beer with about two fingers of tan head. Aroma of coffee with cream with a touch of fruitiness I didn’t expect. The flavor is malty sweet with a bit of roast, some cream, toffee, and maybe some red grape. An interesting combination of things going on with this one. Solid.

Bottle in trade from douglas88- thank you! Served in stein- poured barely transparent very dark brown with ruby tints when held to a light source, bubbly off tan one finger thick formed and laced to a degree. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, and dark fruit. HIts the mouth with a medium body, malt is very enjoyable, sweetness noted throughout, finish trails away. Solid sessioner.
