COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a classic Czech "tmave" (dark) beer with a sweet malty, coffee-like accent. Sweet malts are to the fore on the palate with a hint of drying sensation and a degree of fruitiness on the very lightly hopped finish.

Huh...what can you say about a beer that doesn't really leave a positive or a negative impression? Well, you can say that it was adequate, crisp, and probably "beer," but not much else in this case.

Bottle. Poured dark brown and cloudy with a large, thick light brown head. Aroma of molasses, sweet roasted malts, nuts and flowers. Flavor is sweet and citrusy, like lemon ice tea with hops and honey. Medium body with gentle carbonation. Nice beer!

Pretty dark brown color (ruby when held up to a light) with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor were bursting with burnt tones, coffee, chocolate, and caramel. The aftertaste was very sweet with a root beer character. Bubbly, crisp feel...semi-dry finish. Very enjoyable.

When poured into my glass, this beer had a small tan head with fine sized bubbles. The body was clear with a brown-reddish hue. The lacing was only fair with this beer. The flavor reminded me of burnt coffee and the mouthfeel was smooth.

This brew poured a smnall head of light brown fine to medium sized bubbles. It has a dark browm semi-transparent body with a mild malty aroma. The moiuthfell is smoothe from start to finish. Its flavor is a mild molasses malty caramel clean one that is very pleasing to the palate. This is a very nice beer to drink on a summer evening.

As it spills from the bottle, a very deep blackberry color, the head impressive in size, spumous in structure, light beige in color and the remining lace a nice coating sheet. Nose is caramel sweet, malt laden, fresh and pleasant to the senses, sweet at the start, lots of malt, the top thin and a bit watery. Finish is mildly acidic, crisply hopped, dry but the “thin-waisted” feeling detracts much and leaves me lacking and the best I can do is “Average”, and that’s stretching it a bit!

Very dark bron color, strong tan head that has some real staying power.Malty sweet aroma,Mild yeastiness, with a mild hop presence.Mildly malty taste lite hoppiness very nearly no sweet taste as the aroma would like you to believe there is more. The feel is kind of weak, watery and if it wern't for the carbonation it would be a total dud. There is a slight roasted malt after taste but it doesn't last very long.Kind of a disappointing brew

Not a bad beer by any stretch, but not something I'd go out of my way for either. Very little complexity but the dark malts do factor into the flavor. It struck me as a fairly pilsner-like beer despite the darkness.

This beer poured nice and had a roasted chocolate aroma. It was a little less flavorful than I thought it would be based on the aroma.
