fidel (887), Livermore, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 Dark brown, sweet, dark fruits, roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, little nutty, slightly vegetal. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 3, 2008 Courtesy of douglas88. Pours dark brown with tan head. The aroma is sweet, yummy and inviting. I get dark fruity esters consisting of such things as Concord grape jam and blueberries to go along with some roasty dark malts and a touch of toasty toffee-ness. Nice mix of notes. The taste is moderate and smooth with malt sweetness and grape to sweet berry fruitiness. Midway mild roasted malts surface and run right into the finish. Ends somewhat dry. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA Jul 20, 2008 Bottle courtesy Ibrew2or3. Pours a very dark brown with a one finger tan head that leaves good lacing.
