Královský Lev Votrok (Lev Lion Lager)

Bottle. Aroma is strong and very hoppy. Pours a light golden brown. Head is thin and disappears rapidly. Flavor is hoppy and quickly fades to bitter hoppiness towards the end. Medium carbonation. Repeat buy.

Pours golden with quickly dissipating head. Aroma is hay and very sweet, almost like a malt liq- I hope the taste is not the same. Aroma is very mild but the little flavor that is there- isn’t good. Tastes like well... cheap, tastes like a cheap beer.

Bottle pours translucent straw, small white dishwater like head, minimal carbonation, with spotty lacing.   Aroma of straw/grass and malts.   Flavor is slightly sweet, slightly malty, with a mild bitterness up front.   Finishes quick, with only a slight hop bitterness.   Not bad, but nothing extraordinary.

Body is honey yellow with minimal head. Flavour is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. My first Czech beer years ago. It's not as good as I remember but I'm still sad to see it go.

Retired? Poured with erupting-bubble head over slightly hazy and still yellow beer. Distinct biscuity aroma. Thinly bodied with syrupy malt upfront and distant Saaz undertone.

Not much aroma, palerer than typcial Bohemian pilseners. Applish malts, some noble hops, but could use more. The sample I had was showing signs of age - alas, I will never find a fresh sample.

Golden color with a medium white head. The aroma had a nice Saaz hops tone with a malty backcone. The flavor was full of buttery, biscuity, malty sweet, and slightly hoppy characters. Slightly watery, thin feel, but not too much for the style.

This beer had a very small white head with small-medium sized bubbles. The head quickly diminished with this beer. The body was clear and the hue was golden. The nose was somewhat buttery and some hops and the flavor was bitter, sour and tart tasting. The mouthfeel was tingly and thin.
