The aroma is faint, consisting of sweet grains and some bitter grasses. Slightly watery. The flavor is a bit more broad, bready malts, a bit grainy, with some herbal hop bitterness. The latter lasts into the finish accompanied by a mild mineral water taste.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2006 Bottle: Pale yellow color, nice carbonation, head and lacing for the style. The nose is spritsy and malty with a light hop floral note. The flavor is moderately bitter with a light malt tail and a sweet minerally body. Very refreshing and that electric feeling bitterness in the end keeps things lively. Very nice pilsener. Ernest (4483), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2002 Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow with thinly dense tiny particles. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted light bread, grain, cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is moderately bitter. Light to medium body, dry and watery texture, lively carbonation. Nice, but something about the malt aroma is a bit dull (not stale, mind you), and the flavor is slightly off-balance. Doesn’t smell as clean as most Czech lagers, although I don’t detect anything off specifically...perhaps there’s some corn in here? motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

The aroma was grainy with bread, apples and a hint of celery. The taste was good carrots with a little grass. There was also a spicy black pepper and slight bell pepper finish. Finished dry and clean. A pretty good pilsener. bhensonb (4252), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Aroma of grassy hop, and perhaps a hint of malt. Brassy gold color with a frothy white head. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated. The flavor is slightly fruity with a balance of grassy hop. There’s a slight veg taste, or so it seems. The finish is quite bland; not quite dry; not quite bitter. Just a touch of bitter. Very drinkable. beerguy101 (3878), Newark, California, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 20, 2003 This brew poured a very small head of fine to large sized white bubbles and a transparent straw yellow orange colored carbonated body. It has a mild sweet malt hop aroma and a fizzy mouthfeel. The flavor is mildly hopped with sweet malt and weak on the flavor side of things.
