Rated: 24.10.2008
Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours pale yellow, of cours hazy and with sediments in the body texture like every beer from Polczyn Zdroj. Saturation is rather moderate and carbonation too, head is white, foamy, initially medium to small, decreasing to small and lasting in such a size, rather no lacing.
Aroma: Slightly chalky, gentle notes of hops, grassy and lemony but refreshing and not skunky, notes of milk, very soft malty accent at the background.
Flavour: Front is bitter, kind of sour and harsh, not delicate, the saltyness and sourness becomes stronger when you plongue into beer deeper, sourness reminds brewing cereal, some accidity, harshness on palate, soft to moderate in terms of alcohol influence, rather simple.
Palate: Body is light, texture is dry and harsh, carbonation on palate is soft to medium, finish feel is mineral, highly astringent, sour, dry.
