3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Handbottle, courtesy of Marko
Light amber color. Mild aroma of honey and alcohol, with a very light fruity impression, and wood. Very sweet flavor (Trójniak level, I would say), almost syrupy; generic honey flavor without much depth; correct acidity level; medium-long caramellish end.
Similar to many German meads, pleasant, but without complexity.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.5 l bottle Marko managed to found in Ljubljana, huge thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with medium thick legs. Nice honey aroma, slightly alcoholic. Sweetish honey flavor, some wood notes, though pretty simple it was very nice. Medium in body, not particularly full, obvious lower alcohol content, but still had nice long dainty finish. Quite typical Slavic mead type I like the most and this one wasn’t bad at all!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Handbottle 20 cl. Courtesy of Marko. Pours a clear amber. Sweet, thick and syrupy aroma of caramel and very sweet honey. Solid body, caramel and Sherry notes, clearly there’s about a ton of honey in here, sweet clean honey. Very delicious - almost comes close to Polish meads if not exactly as sophisticated as the best ones. 250311

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Kraševka in Ljubljana, my first Slovenian mead!
Poured a pale golden body. Dull honeyish nose, some vinegar and bread, Ogi said "freshly picked tobacco", which I’m not in a position to confirm. A bit strange. The taste is sweat and soft, more bready than honeyish, simple, a bit sugary, full, maybe a little underfermented but still quite drinkable and likable, even if it does lack complexity.
