COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper IPA. Pronounced "I see you eh?" Get it hahaha. No we’re not Canadian! We love IPAs but also love ambers, so we decided to make an India Pale Ale in a different color. Again you’ll enjoy looking at this beer as much as tasting it: put it in a glass though--both will be easier!

Rather dark color for an IPA. Slight off-white head. Nose is slightly hoppy with some rather odd off-notes. The best I can compare it to is a rotten, berry perfume infused urinal cake. Odd, and not pleasant. The taste has some brown sugar and dried fruits backing as the malt profile. Some bitterness. Odd finish. Overall, this beer is odd. It has too much off about it and definitely doesn’t amount to a good beer. Avoid this beer. Edit: Thinking more, the aroma is simply very vegetal with lots of tomato notes (and that is not a good thing in this case).

drowland (3909) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 7, 2010
Sample during RBWG 2010. The aroma on this is soapy, gummy, vegetal, and banana. The flavor hints at that but is also bitter from both malt and hop. Extremely carbonated.

Hophead22 (2394) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - MAR 28, 2010
22oz bottle. Rating #2. Dark amber more than copper with a decent light tan head. Very vegetal aroma, smells a lot like tomatoes, weird. Hard to get by that tomato smell, it stays with it through the flavor as well, light bitterness, pretty drinkable, still a little weird though. (1157)

Bottle from La Bodega in Riverside.. Pours a copper orange with a fluffy off white head and a nice lacing.. Aroma is very sweet with a lot caramel and some citrus.. Flavor is caramel, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit and a lingering hop bitterness... A little low on the carbonation but still good... Very solid beer.
