Bright golden color with minimal white head. Aroma is a sour malt. Taste is astringent sweet malt and an off sour bitterness. Malt liquor typically is an unbalanced sweet product. This is perhaps less offensive than it’s American cousins, but not by much.

Way too sweet for me, this does not work do the over saturation of sweet malt flavors in this beer. taste like slightly burned popcorn and cotton candy.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2007 This is a super sweet beer in every way. The aroma is like corn flavored gum if that is possible. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is not as thin as I was expecting. Basically this is a weird tasting and smelling beer and coincidentally not a very good beer.

16.9 oz bottle-A yellow golden body with a decent head and an aroma of corn and alcohol. Taste of alcohol, corn, and a nasty finish. Not good.

Bubbly gold with thick white head. Aroma is very sweet with a hint of grass and bubble gum. Flavor is sweet with honey, and mouthfeel is surprisingly thick. Not bad for $2/16oz

Bottle: Clear with decent retentive head. The nose is fairly malty with a nice full tangy sweetness and honey/grass notes. Light citrusy hops and some nobleness, very clean and balanced for the style. Lots of tasty smells along with light dust and alcohol. Cloying candy with hop dust and lots of hidden malts and alcohol overlying everything. Weird.

Killearn Liquors, Tallahassee, Fl - 500 ml bottle. Medium gold pour, thin white soapy head. Pleasant, sweet honey-like aroma with some grassy notes as well. Falvor is bready, some cake mix, honey sweetness and a hint of American malt liquor booziness. Thick mouthfeel for the style, but it "harshens" up just a bit in the finish.

The Turks take over a Russian brewery, and pay tribute to Bohemia. Kinda like Woody Allen hiring Sylvester Stalone to portray Hamlet - it’s a foregone conclusion how this is going to turn out. Fruit and cereal aroma, laced with a whiff of lighter fraction machine oil. Throwback green and gold foil label, medium, clear yellow gold with fluffy head. Gaaaaak! Like sweet, bad malt liquor. Astringent, tinny hops, sweet, ABV evident. Medium body. Lingering alcohol burn and bitterness in the finish. For external use only. If you must consume it, do it quickly and while cold.
