Draft. Served in a ceramic mug with a fluffy white head. Grainy and sweet, with light floral notes. Just enough diacetyl to be noticeable, but not particularly off-putting.

Bottle MHD 31.10.12. Nose has a strong floral and spice component, and to my current presence of olfaction, a vanilla-edged sweet maltiness. Rich, transparent golden with a fizzy off-white head. Taste is mostly sweet with a firm low-end bitterness, touch of grain and the lightish body is a little oily. Doesn’t inspire feelings of cleanliness, but not bad.

Bottle 0,5l. Clear, golden body with a medium white head that very soon reduces to filmy patches that leaves very little lacing. Mild and gentle malty aroma with honey and nuts. The taste is also quite on the malty side with a moderate sweetness, but some acidity and quite much bitterness is also present. Moderate to light bitter finish, and light acidity. Light to medium body, oily texture, medium to lively carbonation. Ok beer, I like the solid maltiness that is backed up by an almost equally solid bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Fairly clear, golden appearance with an off white head. A bit yeasty, grainy, rich hay, a bit sweet, floral aroma. Light corn, chewy straw, hay, somewhat sweet flavor. There’s a slight buttery element to it as well. Not as good as I was hoping.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Clear gold in colour with a frothy white head. Sweet, stone fruits with a yeasty edge, followed by bread cereals and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
