Mild herber Beginn mit ebenso milden Malznoten. Brotig-trocken, weich, unspektakulär. Herb-würziger Schluss. Trinkbares Bier, das man schnell wieder vergessen hat. 10/8/9/8/8/8

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, quickly collapsing white fluffy head, moderate sweetish-grainy and strawy-hoppy nose with a faint touch of toasted malt underneath; mild to moderate clean sweet-bitter flavour, pretty soft and light to medium bodied; caramelly and malty finish with a slight balancing hoppy touch in the aftertaste. Nice brew....

Bierkrug (2133) - - JAN 30, 2012
500 ml bottle picked up in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Pours a Dark copper color with a small off-white head which faded quickly. Virtually no lacing on the glass. Malty, nutty aroma. Full malt flavor with hints of nuts and fruit, light on the carbonation. Smooth finish with just enough hops to balance. This is an excellent example of this style.

Bottle looks really, really nice. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty, spicy, modest sourish, not too much. Finish a bit milder, well balanced. Very drinkable. Well done!

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 4, 2011
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet (cara-)malty aroma with notes of draff and a shy hoppy touch in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Soft malty base with shades of caramel, accompanied by rather subtle herbal and fruity hops; sweet and delicately bitter hoppy finish. Inoffensive and likeable Festbier. 04.XII.11

EithCubes (5053) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 29, 2011
Bottle from BierZwerg, by 12.04.12. Sweet and citric nose, juicy malt with dusty slight hops and minerals. Clear golden body with swirling carb and a fizzy beige head. Taste is light-medium bitter with a slash of grain, floral hops, and earthy caramel on the side. Medium body sort of coats the teeth. Light grass and citrus on the way out. OK.
