COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Here is a true harbinger of spring. Krenkerup Påskeøl delivers a taste of spring, so you can feel the warmth and sense the daffodils come out - it’s quite deliberate. The characteristic budding taste and strong malty beer combined with beautiful maroon color is not to be mistaken: Spring is in the bottle. Krenkerup Påskeøl is particularly suitable for the Easter table, and balances the perfect flavors at mealtimes - especially lamb. The beer is brewed with top fermenting yeast and both the Bavarian and English hops - of course without some kinds of additives according to the Bavarian Purity Law.

Bottle. Amber colour with a nice off white head. Aroma and taste of malts, caramel and bread. Sweet finish. A bit over carbonated for my taste.

Clear, dark amber. Malty, grassy aroma. Flavour has strong malt character with caramely sweetness. Discrete bitterness is finish.

Sweet and malty aroma with lot’s of caramel and dried fruits. Verty malty and caramelish taste as well and with a light bitterness in the end. In my book this is not a real easter brew since it is made on top fermentation but more like a brown ale or an altbier if you like. When that is said this is a very fine brown ale though, and with it’s nice bouquet of caramel and some floral notes this is much much better than most Danish brown ales.

Flaske 0,5 liter.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours hazy brown with a red hue to it; one-finger stable and creamy beige head. Aroma is malty dominated, sweet, raisin, sugar and caramel-ish. Flavour is more balanced sweet which leaves room for nutty, spice and fruity taste as well. Fine hobby notes in the slight dry finish. Medium body. Soft carbonation.

0.5l bottle. Clear ruby color. Fruity malty aroma with some fruity notes so it’s little sweet. Low carbonation. Nice beer.
