Grima (2137) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 18, 2010
330ml bottle The beer in glass is copper-colored with pompous crown, which is very fine and therefore durable. The smell is something strangely sour hoppy, with a slightly musty note in the background. The Zwickel starts extremely sour and malty bitter. With further sips the sourish aroma gets very slightly, but it still remains very difficult drinkable.Die sparkling fresh, fruity citrus flavors cannot prevail against the strong sourish aromas.

Quack-Duck (8299) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 14, 2010
bottle, labelled Brauhaus am Kreuzberg Zwickelbier, thanks to Frankenland. Hazy amber-golden colour, large off-white head. Malty, herbal hops, slightly yeasty with a smooth yet lively carbonation. Pleasant hoppy finish with a resiny-bitter aftertaste.

Swing-top bottle (Labelled as Brauhaus am Kreuzberg Zwickelbier). Sweet caramel malt and grassy hops aroma. Clear amber color with giant head. Sweet buttery caramel malt and bitter grassy hops flavor. Nice body - excellent bottled - has to be even better on Kreuzberg.

TimE (3466) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 19, 2009
Deep amber color. Bready, earthy notes. Soft , full body, which despite being very malty has some amazing fruity undertones. Dry finish with very subtle hop notes just lingering at the end. Beautiful.

Ceramic mug. Fruity, lightly yeasty aroma. Very toasty, dry, hoppy character with lots of minerals. Good basic Franconian country beer.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Draft @ Friedel-keller @ Kreutzberg. In krug is dark coppery gold, a nice color. Aroma is rich, with dark, dry smoky wood. Flavors are richly toasty, malty but burnt, woodsy, sweet. No funk at all. Clean, toasty, woody, smoky balanced goodness.
