3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light orange colored with hazy appearance. Little yellow head. Chocolaty and licorice aroma with nice hops and some grains. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma with licorice and grainy chocolate, sweetness and fruits also present. Good, still not the most traditional keller.

Moderately sweet and yeasty malt aroma, minimal toasty with subtle fruity notes and present hay-like, herbal hops. Bitter flavour, slightly toasted malty taste with liquorice and faint fruity notes; light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation; bitter and slightly sweet finish with a herbal hoppy blend. Solid Zwickel.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is slightly acidic malt combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet combined with a touch of acidity and notes of caramel and berries. The carbonation pricles the tongue.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Impressions in the shade of the keller:
-The mass krug is covered with foam, which deflates soon enough to reveal some shade of amber.
-Passionfruit and earthy malts form a menial aroma.
-Powder yeast and brown sugar allusions evolve into a weird, dry finish.
-Mild grassy hoppiness ends the show of personality.
-Soft carbonation and well-fed maltiness are always a pleasure.
On tap at the Friedel Keller on the Kreuzberg.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber, quite clear beer; good amberish head, fed by good carbonation. Slight sourish nose (??), very faint lactic acid, but excluding anything else... malt? Yep. Not really sourish - even something licorice/coloured malts/bark - but I’m absolutely shure this is infected, even when only very slightly (yet). Quite light MF, very light grain slickness. That is not what I expect under the "Zwickelbier" moniker. Maybe Belgium is a bridge too far for this kind of beer?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (from the Landbierparadies, Nürnberg): Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, medium sized fluffy but stable off-white head; malty nose with a tinge of honey and a distinctive floral hoppy aroma; moderate aromatic bitter flavour, some traces of caramel and honey, medium bodied; lingering aromatic bitter finish with a tinge of yeast in the aftertaste. Wow, thats what a Kellerbier should be like !
