Bov (9500) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 14, 2013
from Aldi - clear bronze beer under a poor head retention; aroma of candi sugar, perfumy, notes of pear and esters; medium-bodied and fairly sweet; residual sugars in a fizzy finish of pear and apples

Bottle from Yamaya. Estery, fruity nose, candi sugar, honey, peach, some banana. Pale amber color with a fine head. Sweet, fruity flavor, sugary, non-descript but not bad. A typical abbey blonde: too swet, somewhat boring. Very estery, with a somewhat dry finish, some bitterness. Ok.

Ernest (6221) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, crackers), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of banana, metal, celery. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic. Pretty plain and industrial. Bleh.

jaghana (3917) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - APR 10, 2014
Can 50cl, a typical poor belgian beer, lot of yeast notes on apple and currant, over carbonated, sweet, industrial caramel, mono-dimensional.

wlajwl (3882) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Aroma is fruit/peaches and malts, like a fruit ale meets a bitter. The flavor is Belgian yeast, sugar sweetness and a mild fruit tartness in the finish.

erickok (3548) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - DEC 2, 2013
Very clean body and fizzy bubbly ugly head. Very sweet grainy smell, cheap, sugar water, urine. Taste is even more like sugar water without any character and way too sweet. Of course no hop to be found at all. What a terrible brew. Looks horrible, smells horrible, taste crap. I should have know better than wanting to tick another beer. (50cl can at Auchan in Tours)

maekchu (2140) - Hirakata, JAPAN - SEP 20, 2012
Bottle. Aroma of yeast, some floral notes, and some rust. Orangeish-brown. Mild honeyish sweetness; mid palate is much the same; final is mildly sweet and continues the yeast. Medium body. Okay, but a bit bland. Not much complexity. Drinkable.

Alengrin (1742) - BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2014
Abbey-style blond session beer since 2013, with snow white, sticky head and colour of ’old gold’. Aroma of green apple, iron, grains, banana, honey, grapefruit, cauliflower. Dry fruitiness, grainy, bit metallic, retronasal hint of DMS and low hop bitterness in the finish - need I say more?

750 ml bottle Pours golden with a long lasting, foamy white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is grassy hops, candy sugar and bready malt. Finish is long, slightly hoppy and spicy. This brew reminds me of industrial lager.

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 9/20
Ragnampiza (427) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - MAY 28, 2014
750 ml cork and caged bottle. Pale gold, perfectly clear, with an average, creamy, moderately persistent bright white head. On the nose grain and corn mainly, some light fruit esters, light toffee, cardboard and booze. Fizzy, cloyingly sweet, massive wet cardboard taste upfront. Malty, a bit astringent, no fruitiness and hoppiness whatsoever. The alchool is well hidden, but it’s not easy to drink at all. Average to lively carbonation, light to medium body, slightly creamy texture. Tastes like a cheap macro lager with lots of brown/dark sugar added and a slightly bigger body. Almost drain pour.
