2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark counterpart of Kristoffel Blond, also since 2013, and I’m not sure if this is better. It has an off-white, sticky head and clear bronze colour, an aroma of caramel, pear, walnuts, rhubarb, brown sugar and iron, and a taste which lacks complexity, showing some dried fruitiness, smooth caramelly and nutty malts but not much body and a metallic, watery, quickly fading finish. Well, a little bit better, alright.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Better than others would have you believe. A rich, tannin strong brune. Chocolate, toffee etc. solid.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Yamaya. Sweet fruit aromas. White billowing head. Low carbonation, medium body. Taste is super fruity and quite sweet - think bubblegum and banana. Creamy texture, but could do with a little more heaviness. Not really my thing.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Cheap, sweet, sugary nose, banana candy, plum, chocolate. Brown with red tint, fine head. Sweet, metallic, plum, raisin, cherry, chocolate. Very cheap and fake though, too much ester. No thanks.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
33 cl. bottle from the local Yamaya store. Candyish malt, candi sugar aromas. Clear dark brown. Initial is mostly mild brown sugar; some yeast is noticeable in mid palate; fades out quickly, with a slight carbonation tingle. Rather uninteresting stuff; no real complexity
