2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - NOV 26, 2007
bottle, 6.5%. Being near the expiry date the ber spent the last days tucked away quietly in my fridge. Nevertheless, when I opened it there was a fountain of foam all over my room. The rest, which I managed to pour into my glass, was full of floaties. Fruity nose, fruity flavour. Not bad, but rather unusual. Malty, slightly dry and bitter in the finish with a hint of warming alcohol. I think I may have to re-rate this some time.

Golden colour, fluffy head. Loads of butterscotch here, in both aroma and taste. I like diacetyl, but here not much else is sensed. Still, hops back it all up in the end, in the finish. Diacetyl bomb!
