Feb 7, 2004 Pretty good. Malty and sweet aroma. Citrusy hoppy flavor. Enjoyable. Wasn't like a bock beer at all, more like a strong ale, but it was good.

Feb 7, 2004 Updated: Feb 20, 2004Not really a lager, so don't expect it. Malty sweet aroma, with fruity notes. Couldn't really see it, being in the beer stein and all, but looked carmel red with a tan head. Flavor was malty, with a citrus hop sourness, that says American hops. The beer was more like an American Strong ale, but when you factor in the free beer stein, the $4.25 was definitely worth it, for the beer was drinkable, and somewhat enjoyable.
