HoppityHop (75), USA Jul 20, 2007 Amber gold coloring, with a malty and almost sweet flavoring which keeps it from having the crisp taste I like in a style like this. Needs hops. I don’t understand brewpubs who design their beers around beers that already exist, and this one seems to be designed to appeal to the BMC fans of remote Northern New Jersey. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Dec 26, 2006 on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is medium malt, secondary hops. Taste is medium malt-light caramel, secondary hops, creamy. OK/mild carbonation.
thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 18, 2006 This draft brew from the brew pub poured a head of foamy fine to large sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a light orange brown colored body. The aroma was hoppy and malty. The crisp and clean smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and dough. A decent one that I would consider buying again. It was thin but yet crisp and satisfying. argo0 (6058), Washington DC, USA Aug 6, 2006 Clear apple juice body with off-white head tht leaves decent lacing. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, some berry. Taste is medium sweet, orange, some cereal, biscuit, berry, light grapefruit. Light body. hophead75 (1637), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Jun 29, 2006 sampler at brewpub. Light orange with a small off white head. Aroma and taste is both of balanced malt and hops, not bad overall for that type of beer.
