Dark brown with nice tan head. Toasted malt nose. Caramel malt flavor with nice bitterness. Palate is thinner with this malty brew. Nice for a session beer.

Deep brown pour with hints of ruby red. Roasted malt aroma with a bit of a sour. Malt and sourness carry through on the flavor followed by a medium bitter. Good carbonation but a bit thin.

on tap-pours a creamy tan head that laces and brown color with red tint. Aroma is faint sweet-dark malt. Taste is sweet-dark malt, secondary hops, nutty. OK carbonation.

This draft brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated caramel brown colored body and a fair lacing. . The crisp and clean mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt nutty and brown malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

sampler at brewpub. Dark copper with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet malt, light toffee, just a hint of chocolate. Taste is the same, watery and very light bodied.

Chocolate and nut smells--this bodes well. Unfortunately, the nuts are too sweet to complement the chocolate and the thing comes off sugary. Shame. Hop flavor is decent but not strong enough. Reminds me of Wild Goose Brown

Dark in color. Roasty flavor. Nothing special. Worth a try. Thin bodied. Malty.
