COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Old Krogh Oatmeal Stout has a rich mahogany hue & a full creamy head. It boosts a dry roasted oatmeal-malt flavor with mildly sweet, nutty, chocolate like overtones. It's a tasty stout with all the right ingredients!

Bitter dark chocolate is the standout flavor here with a mildly sweet underpinning. I would have liked slightly more body, but even as is, its the best brew in their line. A rich brown towering head sits proudly atop this dark mahogany brown brew.

(flight sampler) My favorite within the flight sampler. Well roasted and smoky. Aroma and flavors with notes of cigar and tobacco. Light palate for the style. Enjoyable and nice choice when visiting.

almost black with a medium off white head, from sampler. Aroma is not very present, but from what I got, some light chocolate, some discernable roastiness. Taste was chocolate, roasty, with a bitter finish, but like the other beers not very well balanced, could use more malt character-specifically body.

This draft brew from the brew pub poured a head of frothy fine to medium sized brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a opaque no visible carbonation black colored body and an excellent lacing. . The crisp smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of roasted malt dark malt and burnt malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Very dark red with a roasted aroma. Taste was sweet and light with a somewhat sour and bitter hoppy finish.

on tap-pours a creamy brown head that laces and black color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/oatmeal/coffee. Coffee aftertaste. OK carbonation.
