Certainly can’t complain about the only beer in Afghanistan! Smooth enough, but I’m not especially a pils lover to begin with. Sweet with average carbonation for a pils. Not much depth.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Served in a shaker glass:
Medium to a bit smaller sized gluffy white foamy head on top of a clear straw yellow colored beer.
Aromas of malts, paper, herbs, grains, cattle feeder, dust, some cardboard and corn.
Flavours of iron, malts, corn, light bitter, lighter sweet, herbs, grains, some hay, some paper and a hint of caramel.
Aftertaste is a mix of corn, malts, bitters (herbal and malt), some paper and corn.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low bodied and a creamy texture.
Decent for a non alcohol beer. Pretty close to being nice.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
pours unclear very pale yellow with a small white cap, good retention and nice lacing. pils malts - almost chewy or at least some residual sugars are apparent, hay and corn, grape juice, herbal and grassy, hint of lemon and floral notes. hint of sweetness and ends relatively dry herbal-grassy finish. moderate to low carbonation, light body - surprisingly not watery. more than decent in its style.

330ml can, sampled at the Euro MWR in Kabul, Afghanistan. Labeled as the "pils" NA. So yea, now i have rated 2 NA beers, both while i have been deployed. I found this one for a couple euros at the MWR here. Pours darker yellow hue with a huge pillow-y off-white head. nose is of husky malt, sweetness, lite grass, but mostly malt husks and a bit vegtal note. Flavors follow suit with a dash of spicy hops in there. for what it is, it was not bad. body is ok for an NA but yea, there is a bit of sweetness on the finish. not enough hops or alcohol to dry this one out. I have a few other NA beers to try while im here in Afghanistan.

From a baar in Riga. Reason? Pregnant beautiful wife have to have something to. It works but still the cooked malty falvour in it. Weak hops thats it.

For a non-alcoholic beer I think it is quite good. Still it is not as good as a real beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw with a resilient white head. Aroma is hay, cereals, touch of herbs. Flavor is crisp pale malt. Fresh cereals. A tad bit metallic. Very light herbal hops. Light body, somewhat watery, average carbonation. An alright alcohol free malt beverage.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden with suprisingly good head. Fresh and little malty aroma.
Flavor is malty also but there is good balance also.
Really good for non-alchoholic.
