On tap at Oaka. Dark brown Cola type colour. Thin beige head. Oxidised aroma. Poor. In fact undrinkable. Oxidised thin chocolate. Rubbish.

Bottle from Tesco, Hexham. This dark brown beer has roasted and milk chocolate flavours, coffee notes and a creamy fruity finish.

Very dark appearance. Nice full body with little malt or hop dominance. Nice crisp, clean, and smooth dark lager, but nothing to write home about. Slight coffee and roasted malt.

0,5l bottle from supermarket (Prisma). Nose a bit malty, roasted. Head disappears fast, dark liquid remains, low carbonation. Taste is caramel, toast, not very strong. Mouthfeel is pretty dry, does not linger around for long. Hops overall pretty weak. Would drink again, especially given its reasonable price. Not very complex beer, good for quenching thirst.

Has a sweet roasted malt flavor to it. No head or lacing. Enjoyable for when its 105 outside

Lacking in anything particularly interesting but a pass nevertheless. Malty lager. Yes.

Aroma is a little bit of cereal malt, not overwhelming. Head is tan, fading as I type but a little lacey around the edges. Colour is a solid black. Even left to warm for a bit, no big aroma is developing. Maybe getting a little toastiness. Taste is much maltier, almost chewy. Now I’m starting to get the malt in the aroma. Very malt-heavy. Not bad, but a big break from hop-heavy beers. Not too thin for me for the style; OK overall.

Dark black in colour with big tan head. Big malt aroma. Is like drinking a teaspoon of malt extract like you used to when you were a kid.

Draft. Aroma is just like a german beer. A light skunk smell. Appearance is a very dark brown. Taste is malty with a hint of some darkness... No hops. Palate is ok. Overall, a decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
