Pours brown to reddish hue with clear body. and medium off-white head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, hops, some fruitiness. Palate is medium full.bodied, slightly watery, with crispy , lively carbonation and mouthful. Taste is malts, some dryness and flavors of hops. Finish is sweet, medium dry and had lingering bitter taste. Overall not too complex a Dunkel, but quite tasty and refreshing and has good amount of dryness and hops flavors

Keg at The Brewhouse & Kitchen, Dorchester, Dorset. Dark brown with cream head. This was a slighly sweet and fruity beer, fairly light on the palate, highly carbonated with a wet cardboard note. Some nutty, vegetable notes. Just okay.

The color is clear dark wood brown with a whitish foam head. The smell is very thin. The taste is watery but round with a dryer aftertaste. Lightly roasted nut aromas with little else. It’s an okay beer, but not something you have looked for.

Bottle. Pours a clear light brown beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is malty, nutty and quite faint and almost watery. Flavors are thin, medium bitter, light carbonation over a malty base. Rather bland and uninteresting, yet good drinkablitly. Short, light bitter aftertaste.. Decent.

Bottle 33cl. Brown with a small off white head, which quickly dissappeared. Metal and some sweet malty aroma, quite weak. No strong taste. What is present is malt and also surprisingly very obvious hops which gives a certain bitterness. It’s though not in harmony with the rest, but assures that it not gets just another sweet dunkel.

Smells cheaply of disease, cinnamon and fallen leaves. Tastes sweetly and cheap - malty with hints of cinnamon and turkmeric, a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Probably the worst dark lager I have had.
