Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

I tried this beer before you get here. Even then I did not make notes on taste, smell, appearance and general feel.

Alla spina. Colore giallo trasparente con una schiuma poco persistente, aroma di mais e altri succedanei con una leggerissima punta di luppolo, in bocca ha un corpo leggerissimo e secco. Personalmente non la riprenderei un’altra volta.

Bottle from 7-11: Poured a golden liquid topped with minimal foam cap. Aroma had a corn cereal smell but did smell like a traditional European imported pilsner. The beer itself has a refined palate that moderate carbonation but is easily quaffed down when both drinking from the bottle or a glass cup. One of the most refreshing pilsner beers I have come across in recent times. Affordable too considering any other sixer of pils would cost well over $16 and this was only $7.99 a sixer. Would like to see more of this beer available and for an affordable price during the summer or any other known heat wave phenomenon in southern Cali. I remember my first days drinking beer and tasting Lowenbrau for the first time versus all that nasty macros of Budweiser, Miller, and Coors and saying to myself I need to start trying out some of the other beers that aren’t macro like Karl Strauss and the early days of Stone when everyone only knew the company as "Arrogant Bastard" haha. Enjoyed this beer on a hot humid sommer day.

Pours a sun yellow color, with a very stable, one finger broad head. Smells of rich wheat, together with a whiff of leafy hops and biscuity, distinct malts. Actually pleasant on the nose, the archtype of a german industrial Pils. Has a high carbonation, still creating a smooth mouthfeel, due to well pronounced wheat and malts. Tastes of a wheat infused maltiness, soon accompanied by leafy hops, which then get washed away by evolved, more distinct and sweeter malts. Finishes with a pleasant, white bread maltiness, which got a toffee note to it, among wheat and the bubbly carbonation. Nothing wrong with this beer, very typical for what you can expect from an industrial Pils, with a remarkable, creamy mouthfeel. Its features also the typical hop shortage in these beer, replaced by sugary sweetness, which makes me usually seeking out for smaller brewing operations in Germany.
